How can I access my Concordia Student Email?
In browser
You can still access your email in browser by logging into Concordia Connect > Home > Email > Access your Student Email.

You can also visit http://gmail.cuchicago.edu and log directly into your email without logging into Concordia Connect first.

Desktop client
To add your student Gmail to Outlook on macOS:

To add your student Gmail to Outlook on PC:
  • In Gmail, click on the cog wheel (Settings) > See all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > IMAP access
  • Choose "Enable IMAP"
  • Choose "Enable POP for all mail"
  • Click "Save changes"
  • In Outlook, File > Add account > Manual setup > IMAP (or POP/IMAP) server
  • Use the following:


Incoming mail (IMAP) server: imap.gmail.com
IMAP encryption type: SSL
IMAP port: 993

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.gmail.com
Encryption type: SSL
Requires authentication:  Yes
SMTP port (port for SSL): 465

Sign in with your student login as needed.
